Tom House’s Shoulder & Elbow Warm-up

With pitcher’s and catcher’s reporting in exactly one month, I thought this video would serve as a great, short and sweet blog post for today.

Tom House’s approach to warm-up is that you need to warm-up to loosen up to do your actvity.  He suggests starting with running drills or some sort of active / dynamic flexibilty warm-up before the arm specific warm-up.  The active / dynamic warm-up serves to elevate the core temperature.   The arm specific warm-up loosens up elbow and shoulder capsules so you can do you activity, whatever it is.. throwing, swinging a golf club, overhead lifting, etc.
