Race Benefits the MIRACLE LEAGUE of NORTHAMPTON

On Sunday, October 2, Northampton Parks & Recreation is offering two events in one day, in support of America’s “Let’s Move Initiative” to raise a healthier generation of kids and adults. The day kicks off in the morning with the BucksFit 5K Run/ 1k Fun Walk followed in the afternoon with Let’s Move, Let’s Play activities. The goal is to bring children and their families together to enjoy the outdoors, the Municipal Park, participate in a variety of activities and incorporate healthy lifestyle choices into their daily lives.

Runners of all ages and ability levels are invited to participate in the Run or Walk. Back again this year, students, grades K-6, are encouraged to sign up as a team in the Elementary School Bracket. The combined times from the top 5 finishers from each school will determine top honors with a donation to the physical education program of the winning school.

Elementary school-STUDENT ( grades K-6 ) $ 10.00
ADULT- ( 13 & over) $ 15.00

RACE FEES AFTER 9/18: ( * t-shirts, while supplies last )
Elementary School STUDENT ( grades K-6 ) $ 12.00
ADULT ( 13 & over) – $ 18.00

Awards & light refreshments will follow the race.
